Latinos in Providence

Huáscar Robles -journalist, photographer, and one of the awesome collaborators behind .Crudo- was recently chosen for the Artist-in-Residence program at AS220, an arts nonprofit in Providence, Rhode Island. His photographic project involves documenting memory and culture in the Latin community of the state.

Here’s an update from his work, straight from the oven!

“As a project I took about political and clout in the Latino community takes shape, I’ve gathered a handful of images that illustrate the direction that the project takes and the platforms in which it may expand.  This has been possible thanks to the wonderful communities that have allowed me into their homes, families and day to day experiences.” – Huáscar Robles
